1. Please Note: There is a minimum of two journal article reviews per participating residency program and only one article review per resident will be accepted.
Dos | Don'ts |
---|---|
Submit an article that is relatively recent (within the last 18 months) | Don’t review the same article a co resident is reviewing in your program. (only one will be accepted) |
Provide article titles for all participating residents one month prior to your assigned month. | Don’t submit SLRs too far in advance to avoid overlap; SLRs that are more than 60 days in advance will not be accepted. |
Follow the SLR Resident Template Guidelines (must be included in your review) | Don’t submit an article that has been reviewed and previously posted! (see acfas.org/SLR) |
Submit your SLR on the first of the month prior to your assigned month (ie: assigned month is March 2022, submission due date is February 1, 2022) | Don’t skip your assigned month, residencies that don’t participate during their assigned month will not be invited back the following year. |
